Cycle of meetings from January 31 to February 9: The identity in question
Living together is a social issue that also concerns our municipality. Its multicultural character is developing and involves entering more and more often in relation with another one that is different from oneself or perceived as such. This is not done alone and sometimes even seems impossible.
The representations, even the prejudices, that we have of the other can be an obstacle, sometimes preventing relationships.
They each refer to his own identity and his many questions: who am I, how can I define myself, what is my story? What is my cultural heritage? What am I doing?
Faced with these questions, La Vénerie and the Prevention and Social Cohesion Department come together to offer for more than a week shows to reflect and debate in order to perceive each other, both in our identity as in our otherness.
