The jazz series BOZAR will continue in 2019. Two new evenings are added: the Toots Thielemans Jazz Award with concerts of the winners, Granvat and special guest Magic Malik (26.01). On March 4th, after 13 years, BOZAR welcomes Mélanie De Biasio again . This time she shows up in the Henry LeBoeuf room, with a new line-up!
The concert of the trio Phronesis with Frankfurt Radio Bigband , on January 30, will be another highlight. Their album ‘Behemoth’ has received a lot of positive feedback and the live version will certainly be an experience (30.01). A third exceptional moment in the Henry Le Boeuf room is the organ concert with John Zorn on the keyboard (23.03). The jazz series also offers young talents including Bram De Looze (10.02), Antoine Pierre (13.02) and Lander Gyselinck (5.03).
