Woody Allen & The Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band will begin their 2019 European tour with an exclusive show in Brussels.
It has been more than decade since Woody Allen last came to Belgium, when he performed at a sold-out concert at Bozar in 2007. The famous director, writer, and comedian is also an accomplished clarinetist and, with musical director Eddy Davis and their band, will be returning to Bozar in Brussels at 8pm on Saturday 22 June, 2019.
The show is improvised without a fixed set list, and consists of a varied collection of early 20th-century songs, hymns, and blues ballads, inspired by the work of legendary artists such as Sidney Bechet, George Lewis, Johnny Dodds, Jimmie Noone and Louis Armstrong.
