Belgians who had previously registered could get seats as of 11:00 am on Saturday for the fifteenth edition of the festival. More people (+ 30%) were registered compared to last year, « which somewhat slowed the flow of pre-sales, » said Tomorrowland’s spokesman, Debby Wilmsen.

Those who have not managed to get a ticket were able at 17:00 on Saturday 26th, at the opening of international sales. Some 100,000 tickets were made available at that moment.

Finally, on February 2nd, the remaining 70,000 tickets will go on sale. These will however be more expensive: 293 euros for a full weekend instead of 249 euros in pre-sale and 109 euros for a day-pass instead of the 105.50 Eur in pre-sale.

The 15th edition of the world-famous festival will take place on the weekends of 19th to 21st, and 26th to 28th of July. The theme chosen for this 15th edition is « The Book of Wisdom – The Return », in reference to a theme that was already touched on back in 2012.

This annual survey by British magazine DJ Mag ranks DJs according to their popularity and collects the votes of more than a million people from 179 countries. The results were announced at the Amsterdam Dance Event on 20 October and the winners then performed a one-hour set on the festival stage.

 

 

The DJs, whose real names are Dimitri and Michael Thivaios, both from Willebroek, entered the rankings for the first time in 2015, going directly to the top spot. They have since experienced spectacular success and toured the world. They can soon be found performing four dates in December at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp for the concert Tomorrowland presents: Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike – GARDEN OF MADNESS.

If you stayed in Belgium last week, there is no way you haven’t heard about Tomorrowland. It is a massive electronic festival taking place near Antwerp, in Boom. It became more and more famous over the last years and is regularly ranked among the best festivals or musical events in the World. And thousands and thousands of people rush there to enjoy the shows.

This festival is not only about music and concerts, but a whole universe has been built up around the event. Dreamville is indeed a sort of magical village out of the World where you will find food stands, a bakery, an alternative supermarket and even a hairdresser and makeup salon!

If you haven’t had any chance to pop down in Boom last weekend, we are sorry to announce you missed gigs performed by Martin Solveig, Martin Garrix and David Guetta. It is however not the end of the story. You indeed can participate in Tomorrowland 2017 from Thursday to Sunday, as a second weekend will be held!
