Listen! electronic music festival
After two successful editions in 2016 and 2017, the Listen! Festival is back in Brussels. The third edition of the Listen! Festival will take you to the world of electronic music this Easter weekend from the 29 of March to 1st of April.
Last year, thousands of clubbers rushed around the city to the different venues to catch their favourite performers, and this year, music fans will be in for an even bigger treat.
The festival takes place over four days and has more than 70 performers to entertain and enliven crowds, with festival-goers being treated with the likes of Bicep, Dj Stingray, Floating points and many more.
More than 20 organisations and major Brussels venues are taking part in the festival, such as Flagey, Horta Gallerie, Fuse, Bonnefooi, Halles Saint-Géry or Maison du Peuple, and with many of these places playing music from 8 pm till 4:30 in the morning!
The opening will take the form of gigs at Flagey on Thursday 29 March with the Belgian label Stroom and the Brussels-based record shop Crevette Records designing the opening line-up.
And there will be a variety of music offered throughout the venues, with some days being contemporary electronic and then switching to avant-garde electronica music from the 80’s and the 90’s.
Should your aim be not just to dance or listen to electronic music, but to know more about it those sounds that make you want to get down, then there are plenty of conferences, workshops, and master classes. But for those who’d really love to dance through the whole weekend, the stages will be packed and going for the full four days, so you’ll be in no short supply of music.
This festival is sure to bring in a huge crowd and have the streets of Brussels filled to the brim. So in conjunction with this festival, DriveNow is offering a handy solution to beat the crowds and even offer festival-goers free tickets for the festival. Saving you the hassle of having to board public transport during this festival. Sign up for the car-sharing app, and you’ll also get 30 extra minutes driving too.
Being an electronic festival, it will give festival-goers the chance to learn all the nuances and details of electronic music culture. You will then have the chance to enjoy avant-garde electronica music from the 80’s and the 90’s as well as contemporary electronic music.
