Brussels Airport: the strike by baggage handlers starts again

The management of Aviapartner has stopped negotiations with unions on the night of October 28th at Brussels Airport, the liberal union ACLVB reported.

The baggage handler’s strike will be continued until Tuesday morning.

Management left the negotiations table at 6:30 pm to quantify union proposals. But the management negotiators did not return to discuss. At 22:30, the unions concluded that the negotiations had been interrupted. They will continue today, Monday 29th October, at 11am.

“The management has already told its own staff that there would be no activities at Aviapartner before Tuesday morning 6am,” said a spokesperson for the ACLVB union.
