Marry Me! is back in Brussels

First, there is the proposal, intimate or spectacular, which marks the beginning of a new adventure. Then come the preparations for this beautiful day, so many appointments that mark out these long months of waiting. For 7 years, Marry Me! stands out as the rendezvous for brides and grooms in search of poetry and authenticity.

For a weekend, Marry Me! brings together in Brussels service providers and designers handpicked in an intimate and friendly atmosphere. This year, they invite you to take inspiration from the four seasons and to give ideas to lovers to celebrate the love all year round. In 2012, Géraldine and Valentine imagined Marry Me! as a show of a new kind, to meet the demand of future brides and grooms, weary of large impersonal salons and providers in search of more authenticity. “The first edition of Marry Me! was set up in 3 months. It was a big challenge but the wedding providers quickly trusted us. And the audience followed!”

The soft colors distill their happy notes on tablecloths and mismatched dishes while the bouquets of wild flowers flatter the delicate lace of a dress. The party is generous, bright and bucolic. Summer brings the bride and groom along the clear shores where the wind carries treasure. The azure mixes with the luminous colors, the natural materials sublimate the mother-of-pearl of a shell, the blue enamel of a ceramic. The party stretches like a summer day.

Autumn plays with contrasts: raw materials flatter opulent bouquets, gold ennobles exposed bricks and concrete. Modernity and tradition combine and offer lovers the opportunity to reinvent the party, to imagine new rituals. Free from clichés, winter envelops lovers of grace. The light tones are declining, capture the soft light of the candles, once in the evening; the dried flowers adorn the white tablecloth and the sandstone dishes. A refined celebration that reminds us that the essential is there, within reach of kisses.
