The 6th edition of Are You Series? returns to delight fans of the small screen from the 10th to the 16th of December.
Belgian TV series will be in the spotlight. Kicking off the festival is the second season of Public Enemy with its whole team, as well as two Flemish series, Over Water (Eén) and De Dag (Vier et Telenet), both being presented before they are broadcast on TV in 2019.
Adam Price, who revolutionised European TV series in 2010 with Borgen, will be one of our distinguished guests. He’ll give a master class and present the new season of Ride upon the Storm.
Also on the programme are exclusive screenings, including My Brilliant Friend (L’Amica Geniale), an adaptation of Elena Ferrante’s bestselling novel, the Norwegian mini-series State of Happiness which impressed the CanneSeries festival jury and the new Italian TV gem The Miracle (Il Miracolo), which won the Special Jury Prize and the Best Actor Award at Séries Mania, the entire Series Coincoin et les Z’inhumains by Bruno Dumont and Hippocrate, by Thomas Lilti with Louise Bourgoin.
Every year, TV series are giving films more of a run for their money. What’s more, as the 6th edition of Are You Series? from BOZAR CINEMA demonstrates, they’re both best enjoyed on the big screen!
