For a long time, Cultura contro camorra has been working to open an intercultural meeting place in Brussels, the capital of the European Union, where young people will be able to discover the richness of their culture from their gastronomic roots. This objective has been obtained with the creation of the PAVA project (Produire Autrement, Consommer Autrement, Vivre Autrement), which will take place at Etnò-Atelier (rue de Dublin, 42 in Ixelles).
PAVA is a permanent exhibition and distribution point for products that have a “history” (management of assets confiscated from organized crime, cooperatives of workers who have taken over an “abandoned” company, small producer groups, etc.). It aims to show that it is possible to guarantee the best quality at affordable prices; it also
enables local producers to provide goods with dignity, valuing local traditions and know-how.
PAVA will be a space for meetings, a reference point for conviviality, culture and constructive discussion.
Let’s celebrate this new beginning with an after-work apero on the 12th October from 18h30! You will find all you may need: good music and wine, high quality Italian products and many friends!
During the evening you will be able to buy Italian products supplied by the PAVA project, and you will be able to enjoy the music of two jazz guitars, Julien Tassin and Lorenzo Bevilacqua.
