The Emerson String Quartet boasts a truly impressive list of accomplishments and prizes: more than 50 acclaimed recordings, nine Grammy Awards (including two for Best Classical Album), three Gramophone Awards, the Avery Fisher Prize, named ‘Ensemble of the Year’ by Musical America, etc. This American quartet celebrated its 40th anniversary last season. There is no better group to invite to Flagey’s in the context of the String Quartet concert series!
