Isabelle de Borchgrave presents her new series entitled “Africa Inside Me“.
The Belgian artist, known for her works in pleated paper, was inspired African fabrics to create a universe crossed by landscapes and animals, portraits and masks, all inhabited by abstract forms and Geometric. The exhibition will then go to Geneva and San Francisco.
For this exhibition, she was inspired by the African weaving tradition and created, keeping in mind her particular style of painting, complete landscapes, animals, portraits and masks. We would also like mention that due to the success of the exhibition in Knokke, Isabelle de Borchgrave has became more and more acknowledged by art collectors.
