Please come to check out Musicorum, the renewed – and renamed – version of the Festival des Minimes organised by the Centre d’Œuvres de Merode. This year, it will feature a free concert every lunchtime from 1 July to 31 August 2019 under the chairmanship of Prince Amaury de Merode.
The MUSICORUM Festival (or its predecessor the Festival des Minimes) has been organising classical music concerts in the heart of Brussels for many years. The festival offers a variety of musical genres: soloists and orchestra, chamber music, instruments and vocals.
Great international artists, faithful to the spirit of the festival, take to the stage each year. Alongside their masters, young virtuoso musicians also perform in original programmes.
Another added value of this unique concept is that the festival is accessible free of charge to all audiences, thus respecting the wishes of Father Jacques Van der Biest, who created it in 1986.
The MUSICORUM Festival takes place from July 1st to August 31st (except weekends and public holidays) from 12:15pm to 1pm, in the Auditorium 490 Philippe Roberts-Jones of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, accessible from the Place du Musée or rue de la Régence 3, 1000 Brussels.
The program for the festival can be found here.
Admission to the concerts is free, except for the closing concert on August 31, 2019.
