Come and witness the second edition of the summer festival in Herman Teirlinck’s house and garden!
The focus this year will be on Gerard Walschap (1898-1989), one of the most controversial and at the same time most acclaimed authors of the last century. The general public knows him from his famous novels Celibacy, Een mens van goede wil and Houtekiet.
At the festival, Rachida Lamrabet, Annelies Verbeke and Sien Volders be offering a paen to Walschap; Tom Van Bauwel and Ianka Fleerackers will be providing readings of him. Finally, as a literary grandson of Walschap, Tom Lanoye also cannot be missed.
