Bart De Wever dreams of becoming the “King in the North”

Bart De Wever wishes he could be The King in the North, a fictional character in a fantasy novel by American author George R. R. Martin.

With this image halfway between parody and megalomania, Bart De Wever has announced his candidacy for the post of Minister-President of the Flemish Region.

The commentary “Brace yourselves, Bartje is coming” also refers to the battle for the supreme post in the north of the country.
