The gallery organizes solo and group exhibitions, giving priority to curatorial concepts, and considers the international representation of Eastern European art a matter of great importance. Open to all media, special emphasis is placed on installation art. The artists represented actively participate in international art events, such as the Venice Biennial and Manifesta. Numerous works are included in public collections (MoMA, Centre Pompidou) and have been exhibited in well-known museums (MUnited States of AmericaC, Bozar).
Ani Molnár Gallery was founded in 2009, developed a high international profile and is one of Budapest’s most active galleries. Its programme encourages dialogue between contemporary art and the audience. The focus is on the international representation of both emerging and established Hungarian and foreign artists, mainly from Central and Eastern Europe. The artists regularly exhibit at biennials and major institutions worldwide and have works in renowned public collections.
