Balassi Institute, the Cultural Service of the Embassy of Hungary in Brussels invites you to the concert of Ferenc Sebő Trio in the framework of Folk on Film.

Initiated by Cinéma Nova, the festival presents movies revolving around folklore. The special guest of the Hungarian Focus is Ferenc Sebő, who starred in both movies programmed for screening and who will perform a live concert with his trio on the stage of the cinema. Ferenc Sebő is a key figure of the Hungarian roots revival from the 1970’s onwards. With his band, they endeared the public to authentic folk music and dance and presented the Hungarian folklore on stages from Canada to Japan.
