Brussels Museums Nocturnes 2019
On Thursday 19th of September, the 19th edition of the Brussels Museums Nocturnes was inaugurated, kicking off a long series of evenings under the sign of culture and encounter. Until the 5th of December, every Thursday evening, the museums of one same district of Brussels, from the north to the south, will open their doors until 10 pm. A special price for a democratic entry will be proposed.
The inauguration took place at the emblematic Grand Place, a historic site whose museums opened for free to visitors. The purpose of the evening was to invite them to discover neighborhoods and museums they may not be used to. In order to better discover the program of the season and help the public to choose between the many museums that will participate to this edition, it has been prepared a “Museum Market”, in which every museum had a stand. In fact, no less than 72 museums will present their collections and their latest exhibitions throughout the following Thursday evenings.
It is possible to pay the single admission fee per museum, or it is available a “5 Nocturnes Pass”, that gives 5 tickets at the reduced rate of 17 euros (8 euros for -26 years). In this way, Brussels Museums Nocturnes puts everything in place to bring Brussels museums closer to their audience. The pass can be used during a single night or throughout the whole season. It is ideal for the fans of serial museum tours, or for those who love to hang out in groups.
