After Minsk, Thessaloniki, Sarajevo, Bratislava and Prague, it is the turn of Mapuetos. No need to look for this city on a conventional atlas because Mapuetos is the city of a dreamlike kingdom, in an alternative world. The chronicles of this “city that does not exist in a country that does not exist”, this mysterious place discovered by a poet named Marceau Ivréa, deceased in the prison of Saint-Gilles, are told by his father Patrick Lowie. Patrick transports us through the chronicles and their genesis and he presents us the last chronicles in order of time: “Next (F9)”, 111 dreamlike portraits. The author draws a portrait as one draws cards tarot; he debunks the arrangement of the real by reading between the folds of the invisible, by deciphering in the rear of beings the theater of their impulses, of their tribes of spirits …
