Welcome to the first music festival in the fabulous Parc de Forest! #ForestSounds17
We are very pleased to introduce Forest Sounds, the first music festival in the Parc de Forest which takes place on Saturday, September 2nd between 1pm and 1am. The Forest Sounds found its place in a bucolic setting and offers a colorful programme with Belgian and international artists:
Bombino, Touareg blues-rock musician from Niger. His last albums were produced by Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) and Dirty Projectors.
For the first time in Brussels, two Ghanaian artists discovered by the label”Awesome Tapes From Africa”: Ata Kak and Dj Katapila.
Among the Belgian artists, the oriental kraut-rock of Phoenician Drive, the Ethiopian grooves of Azmari, the multi-instrumental afrojazz of Esinam Dogbatse, the neosoul/funk of Indigo Mango, the urban hip-hop oldschool from Ghent of Jayeness and other artists to be confirmed.
During the afternoon different workshops and artistic performances. Festive, open to everybody, environment friendly and located in the heart of a beautiful Brussels park, Forest Sounds closes the Belgian summertime in beauty!
An initiative of Le Palais des Sciences (Antitapas Night), BRASS (Cultural Center of Forest) and the Commune of Forest.
