The Goethe-Institut together with Cinema Galeries present selected works from “ANTIKINO (The Siren‘s Echo Chamber)”, a group exhibition that was held as part of Forum Expanded at the Berlinale 2019.

On October 3rd, Goethe-Institut offers a guided tour through the exhibition “Forum Expanded” with the exhibition curator Dr. Jana J. Haeckel in the framework of “Perruche” at Cinema Galeries at 6:00 pm followed by an artist talk with the well-known German video artist Clemens von Wedemeyer and a film screening of his film “Transformation Scenario” at 7:00 pm.

The video works of the German artist and filmmaker Clemens von Wedemeyer focus on social developments and transformations of power structures in the mirror of architecture, city and space. On October 3, the artist talks about his recent video works, including Faux Terrain (2019) and Transformation Scenario (2018).

Forum Expanded in Brussels

Forum Expanded provides an open platform for film formats from a broader range of disciplines, including visual art, theatre, performance, music and the media. There will be works by: Evan Calder Williams & Anne Low, Monira Al Qadiri, Heike Baranowsky, James Benning, Félix Blume, Catherine Sullivan, Clarissa Thieme, Clemens von Wedemeyer & Billy Woodberry (free admission).

The admission for the screening is 8.50 Euro / 6.50 Euro.

The Guided Tour is free.
