This summer, the City of Brussels is organising the LAEKEN FIREWORKS, a new event which will cause the eyes of children and adults alike to sparkle. Fireworks will light up the sky of the capital city for five nights on the Fridays of 14 and 28 July, and 4, 18 and 25 August. These five convivial moments of sharing will be a celebration of multiculturalism. The LAEKEN FIREWORKS will be held on the Heysel Plateau at the foot of the Palais 5.
At 11 p.m., the pyrotechnicians will present their most beautiful project in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.
From 6 p.m., before each pyrotechnic show, family events will be available: food trucks, music, balls, activities for children.
These five exceptional Fridays will pay homage to the greatest treasure of our city: diversity.
Emotion and sharing will be the magic ingredients of this new event, which will contribute to a multicoloured Brussels summer!
