Les Garages Numériques: The innovative festival crossing visual and sound arts, heads down to the Stock Exchange building of Brussels

Les Garages Numériques present the third edition of their festival dedicated to digital and electronic cultures. The event will be held in the Stock Exchange building of Brussels from November 7th to 11th 2019. The works of 35 visual and sound artists will be presented, among which Louise Bourgois, Ann Veronica Janssens, Batu and Aisha Devi.

Les Garages Numériques is one of the only events in Brussels where arts, clubbing, professional encounters, projections, conferences and performances meet. During 5 days and 4 nights, 35 artists and musicians will take hold of the sumptuous Stock Exchange of Brussels.

The festival tends to show a double face, a daytime one and a nocturnal one. As a unique player, it perfectly blends museal and digital cultures into electronic music. The festival addresses both professionals as a curious audience that tends to experiment into new digital, sensorial and artistic adventures.

For this edition, Les Garages Numériques settle into the Stock Exchange of Brussels, an iconic building from 1873 nested in the heart of Brussels. The festival creates a unique occasion to discover the Stock Exchange transformed into a party temple.

EXHIBITION

Composed of 12 audiovisual and contemporary installations, the exhibition will be the central axis of the event and will host young local artists and international personalities.

NIGHTS

The nights will be a lively moment offering a complete experience of Les Garages Numériques, where digital and electronic cultures meet. The audience will dive into a festive environment enabling to enjoy performances and live acts while visiting the exhibition.

ARTSCIENCE

The «ArtScience» day and evening are aimed to popularize science through art. A hybrid event with conferences, intimate conversations and presentations of scientific and artistic works.

GN PRO

This day is dedicated to professional encounters and is a first for the festival. Les Garages Numériques will offer a meeting and reflexive space for pros of the digital industry.
