Every year, the festival offers an explosive glimpse of all the different aspects that make up the modern jazz scene. From gypsy jazz to modern jazz, from fusion to world rhythms, this 5th edition boasts a generous programme and a striking lack of borders.
Because jazz is constantly changing and malleable, it feeds on life in order to then transcend it. Like a river, its bed cuts through cultures and genres. And like all music it develops a universal language but without blinkers. Fourteen projects therefore with varying levels of energy and horizons will converge around fusional collaborations, with a focus on our French neighbours in all their diversity, as well as the night of saxophonist Nicolas Kummert, the Brussels illustrator Yves Druart, a conference, and a concert for young audiences. Welcome to the unique kaleidoscope of our triple venue!
A festival which consists of 14 concerts, expos and conferences, for all ages, in three of the epicentres of the Brussels jazz scene, the Marni, the Jazz Station, and the Espace Senghor.
