The music produced can hardly be positioned in a specific music genre, since the different music origins of all members have created the suitable conditions for experimentation. The musical outcome involves elements of cabaret, jazz and rock music, and our english – lyric context is a philosophical and social reflection on the contemporary human condition.

By being music-wise active throughout the Greek crisis, StarWound have composed ten music pieces, which consist their debut album titled “Miles to Walk” (September 2015). The album was recorded at Lizard Sound Studio under the production of Dimitris Karpouzas and the master was accomplished by David Glasser at Airshow Mastering in Colorado, USA (he was the main master-engineer of Lou Reed among others).

StarWound became the first Greek band who created an album based on their experience of the Financial and Social Crisis in Greece.
