The ECC is submitting The Impotence of Being Frank by Joel Wilde to the annual FEATS one-act play drama festival in Munich at the end of May.
In this verbal farce two policemen, vying with each other in sheer stupidity, try to fit up someone, anyone, for a putative murder which turns upon a window which may have been opened and then closed, or not. Any character unwise enough to tread the boards with these rollicking rozzers is, by definition, a suspect. Come and be confused.
The author freely acknowledges his debt to Joe Orton and Oscar Wilde. The staging is markedly different from the outing of two years ago.
We will be running two public dress rehearsals in the Warehouse, Rue Waelhem 69A 1030 Brussels. They start at 8pm on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th of May. Entrance is free and there will be a bar both before and after at the usual modest prices. Stay behind and meet friends and cast.
To reserve a seat just email kerry.lydon@gmail.com saying which night, and the names of the people in your party.
