The International Brussels Film Festival, known as the “FIFB” (Festival International de Film de Bruxelles), aims to offer the discovery of new authors, filmmakers, new countries, new themes from around the world to a new audience. The FIFB also proposes a universal cinema, free from any theme, open to all genres and resolutely international while leaving a place of choice for Belgian cinema, auteur cinema, documentaries and innovative and daring creations.
The FIFB also aims to stay abreast of new technological and digital trends to make them available to the young public.
The Festival will host 2 competitions:
- An international competition:
- 6 short films
- 6 feature films
- A documentary competition
- 3 documentaries
3 new events in parallel:
- The Media & Sports Day, a day dedicated to women in the film world and equal opportunities in sports through film;
- The Jobs Cinema Day , unique show in Europe dedicated to the professions of cinema and audio-visual;
- The Kid’s Day , a projection dedicated to children and adolescents with red carpet events and photo session.
Tickets:
- Opening and closing ceremony (movie and evening): 20 Euros
- The session: 8 Euros
- Kid’s day: Free for children, 8 Euros for adults
- Media Day and Jobs Cinema Day: Free
- Reductions: 3 Euros for those younger than 26, and +65.
