Belgium wants justice for the victims of MH17 and their families

4 years ago, Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was shot down over the east of Ukraine. 298 citizens, including many children, lost their lives. 4 compatriots also died.

Four years later, the international investigation to determine responsability for this tragedy is progressing. Belgium has contributed very actively to this investigation from the outset. This must ultimately result in a trial in which the guilty parties are brought to justice. The criminal investigation remains an absolute priority of the Belgian government. Together with the EU, Belgium calls on all countries, including Russia, to cooperate fully with the investigation, so that justice can be served for the victims and their families.
