Federal public servants strike 30th April

Public servants of the Federal government will strike on the 30th of April, announcing on Thursday that this would be one of many expected to come.

The CSC announced strike surprised the socialist union, but they later stated Minister Steven Vandeput is following “a bad policy,” and “shows no respect for public servants.”

The choice of 30 April means that the strike will likely affect a two day period as 1st of May is a public holiday.

This strike action will affect several federal public services such as ONEM and income tax offices. Other unions such as the railways and Bpost are not involved in the demonstrations.
