Police discover a cannabis plantation in an apartment in Brussels being rented out to tourists
The police of the commune of Ixelles have discovered a cannabis plantation in an apartment in downtown Brussels. The apartment was being leased to tourists according to the Brussels prosecutor’s office.
The point of contact for those wishing to rent the apartment is a 28 year old who was arrested. He was released shortly after the hearing.
The police had been notified of the cannabis plants and the equipment to grow these plants in the aforementioned property. After a search was conducted, the police seized eight cannabis plants, a lighting and ventilation device, two bottles of fertilizer, 185 grams of cannabis leaves, a precision balance and two scrapers.
