“See U” to be held in Brussels this weekend

A cinema, an organic market, art exhibitions, workshops, urban vegetable gardens: one unique place, right on the border between Ixelles and Etterbeek, will become an area of work and exchange this weekend for many different individuals and organisations based in the Belgian capital.

More specifically, the people of Brussels are all invited this weekend to a “weekend of discovery” at the former military barracks Fritz Toussaint in Ixelles. At least 40 different activities – cultural, social, and gastronomic – are set to be take place, all of which are aimed at promoting environment protection, innovation, and family bonding.

Throughout the weekend, fans will be able to visit the site, take part in the activities, and also discover the magnificent fresco by Jean-Luc Moerman, who has made a work covering the entire facade of one of the site’s buildings. In addition, a flea market is scheduled for all day Sunday.

Further details can be found on the project website, www.see-u.brussels.
