Welkom in Gelderland

Gelderland is a Dutch province located in the central eastern part of the country. If you wish to visit this region it’s pretty easy from Brussels. Every 30 minutes there is a train in the Brussels Central station towards Roosendaal and from there you can take a second train to Arnhem. The capital of Gelderland. It will take you 3 hours. Plan B would be just to drive but you will only save 30 minutes. I personally advise you to take the train and enjoy the view.

Gelderland is an inspiring place. In the centre of the “Tristate Deltametropole“ – Brussels, Cologne and Amsterdam –  we find this peri-urban area with lots of nature, cultural heritage, lively cities as Arnhem and Nijmegen, van Gogh paintings in the museum Kröller Muller, historical scenery of world war II  and the ‘bridge too far’ of Arnhem. This region is also known as the  » Dutch Food Region » !

We had the pleasure to produce an episode, in the framework of our series Embarquement, about Gelderland. You can screen this episode here. This episode will be broadcasted in a few weeks time by the french TV station TV5 Monde. Just enjoy!
