6 Portuguese women are running for the Communal Elections 2018

Last Sunday the Portuguese community in Brussels got to know six new candidates. They are all women and members of the Socialist Party.

According to the Brussels Institut for Statistics and Analysis, 6,2% of the non-national population in Brussels are Portuguese. They are the 6th European community. A ranking led in 2017 by Romania with roughly 40 000 expatriates.

 

António Buscardini

António Buscardini is the Founder of Brussels Express. From January 2017 until December 2018 he was the Brussels Express' Editor-in-chief. Antonio is the Director of Embarquement, Clin d’Oeil sur le Monde & 60 secondes series 📺Broadcast by TV5 Monde. Today he's also the Travel Pulse Editor from Brussels Express. He was the Editor-in-chief of the Press Club Brussels Europe Magazine until December 2016. From 2010 to May 2015 he was the Coordinator for Press and Communications within the Assembly of European Regions. He is Portuguese and a Benfica fan.
