Bruxellois Simon Gronowski comes up on stage and joins Woody Allen at Bozar

This past weekend, on Saturday night, Woody Allen performed with his jazz band at Bozar in front of a cheering crowd. The concert was sold out.

87-year old Bruxellois and piano aficionado, Simon Gronowski, surprised the crowd by joining Allen and performing a handful of tunes.

Simon Gronowski performed “Ole Miss”, followed by “Struttin with some Barbeque”. The crowd went mad, they roared with delight. After several minutes of a standing ovation, Simon and Woody played one more song.

Simon learned to play piano on his own after losing her sister and mother during the Second World War.
