Because it doesn’t always have to go as planned: ready for a more than appropriate, impressive musical surprise? We might even reveal a few tips in the run-up to the show. Now that’s quite a tease, isn’t it?

It seldom occurs that AB brings in an, as yet, unknown artist no less than four (!) times in one concert season. That says a lot. We very much – pardon: VERY MUCH – believe in the talent of this chanteuse from New-Zealand: Aldous Harding.  Her latest – ironically titled – album ‘Party’ resounds with the echoes of Nico and Scott Walker, as well as Karen Dalton and PJ Harvey.

PJ Harvey right-hand man John Parrish also took care of producing her latest album. Here and everywhere, we set the single ‘Imagining My Man’ – with a superb Perfume genius in the background – on endless repeat. Need more be said?

Trivia for your inner joy: following on from two full Huis 23 concerts earlier this year, Aldous Harding will also perform in the AB Club on 15.11.’17.
