Art Truc Troc & Design embraces its 14th edition in 2018!

The prestigious halls of Bozar will once again host this key event , that highlights the swap, contemporary art and design, with the support of the Wolubilis Cultural Centre – Commissioner for Plastic Arts.

This year, emphasis is given on the BODY ART. Discover the body in all of its aspects ; as a place and mean of expression and even sometimes, as a genuine piece of art.
What’s the program ?
A tattoo pop up shop by the Singulier Tattoo’s team, a box of temporary tattoos, live body painting with Make Up For Ever, kids activities, performances and many other unprecedented live workshops!

Last but not least: a giant fresco by our special “body art” guest Jean-Luc Moerman. You will also have the chance to see the amazing work of this artist who places the tattoo at the core of his work through an exclusive exhibition.

What is Art Truc Troc & Design?
More than 300 works of close to a hundred buddings and established artists shall be showcased at Bozar. With paintings, photographs, sculptures, drawings, engravings, design, this is an occasion to discover the current scene in Belgian art.
Armed with their imagination and a few Post-it notes, the visitors are invited to trade with the artist in exchange for any piece of art that may attract their attention. Sunny holidays, the creation of a their website or private piano lessons… the only limit is the visitor’s imagination.
These bizarre and unprecedented exchanges are the driving force behind Art Truc Troc & Design!

Varnishing day the 26th of January at 6pm, followed by the Opening Party at 9pm.
