On May 25, SB OverSear will gather to break the Ramadan fast with you, the members of the SB OverSeas support community in Belgium.

This year, they will reflect together on the theme of “choice, future” to explain and increase awareness of our education and empowerment programs aimed at preventing early marriage and marriage, effect of “lost generation”.

Their Iftar dinner last year was a great success; as they welcomed more than 400 guests and raised more than 8,000 euros in donations and raffle tickets to support their programs in Lebanon. This year’s event will promote an inclusive and intercultural dialogue, a principle to which SB OverSeas is working with the young refugees who are part of the SB Espoir program in Brussels.

The evening will be organized around discussions about the impact of their programs with children, youth and women in schools and communities in Lebanon. You will also celebrate the traditional breaking of the fast of Ramadan, with musical, theatrical and dancing performances from Syrian culture and the diverse cultures represented among the supporters.
