Dotan invites favourite singer-songwriters for the third time!
After the sold out clubs with Luke Sital-Singh, Mahalia, Nathan Ball, Dustin Tebbutt, Sara Hartman… now there is yet another new date, for a THIRD 7 LAYERS SESSION, with even more talent worth discovering. 7 Layers Sessions: Dotan presents an evening of his favourite singer-songwriters.
This evening, Dotan will introduce us to his invited international singer-songwriters. He has left us guessing who these exceptional artists are but that it will be a special night is certain!
Artists like Thomas Dybdahl, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Alex Vargas, Luke Sital-Singh and Rhodes already played on the 7 Layers Sessions last year.
7 Layers refers to the seven layers that our skin consists of. With the peeling of these layers of skin you come closer to the ‘heart’ and that’s where the purest things originate. Just the way music should be! As musician you expose your soul and are prepared to share personal stories with a large group of ‘strangers’.
The ‘7 Layers’ nights focus upon this raw approach. An artist with his/her instrument, own songs, and an authentic story. The venue is actually transformed into living room in which new music can be discovered. No beats, no over-produced music, just real songs and real stories.
After diverse sold-out ‘7 Layers sessions’ throughout The Netherlands, and the sold-out first 7 Layers Festival that recently took place in Amsterdam, it is now Brussels’ turn to become acquainted with this exceptional concept.
