For a New European Social Contract: The new EUNIC Brussels conference cycle questioning the future of Europe.

The development of networks and digital communities has blurred the traditional lines between public and private life. In the context of the fight against terrorism and monitoring personal data, how can the rights of citizens be preserved? What about social networks? How is freedom of expression protected when the public-private boundary becomes blurred? Does the EU protect our privacy enough? What are the measures put in place by the EU to ensure this protection?

Join the round-table debate with: Bénédicte Rey, Kimmo Rousku, Marta Peirano and Karl van den Broeck.
