Belgian Festivals Part 2: Take the Party Train

SNCB allows you to take “party trains” to go to your favourite festivals this summer.

What are the main points of going to a festival by train? Your family may mention it will be safer, as you won’t be driving under the effect of alcohol. That’s the first and the most pragmatic point. But have you thought about the potential party you can have in a train? Good news, SNCB has set up a tailor-made system to attend the festivals you should not miss.

As soon as you get in, you will feel like you are in the festival already. You will get free drinks and a DJ will perform during the whole journey. You therefore can start dancing and chilling with your friends.

If you do not live in Brussels, do not worry! The train will take the normal way to go to the festival and stop at the different train stations, such as Louvain and Mons.

You don’t need to bring your drinks, SNCB has an agreement with the following festivals: Graspop Metal Meeting, Rock Werchter, Les Ardentes, Dour and Pukkelpop. You will find all the information and the timetable on the SNCB’s website. You will also discover which DJs will perform on the train.

If you have not had time to book a ticket for your favourite festival, the train company also organises a contest to try to win some passes.

Both the festivals and summer are back here, let’s enjoy them!
