Brussels Airport: among the top 10 most expensive taxi rides in Europe

A taxi ride between Brussels airport and the city center costs between 3 and 5 Eur per kilometer, making it the sixth most expensive taxi ride in Europe, according to a ranking made by the travel websites Vliegveldinfo.nl and AirMundo.com.

A taxi ride from the airport to the center of a European city costs on average 40 euros, according to the websites.

The Summer Airport Taxi Report 2018 reviews the fares charged by taxi drivers in the 50 busiest airports in all of Europe. Per kilometer, the most expensive taxi rides are in Switzerland: Geneva (5.67 Eur) and Zurich (5 Eur).

Copenhagen, Nice and Düsseldorf complete the top five most expensive locations.

The cheapest airports for a taxi ride are located in Turkey and Russia.
