Brussels Airport is adopting its sportiest look for the FIFA World Cup.
“We support our national soccer team at the FIFA World Cup in Russia and are putting in a sprint to the Memorial Van Damme. Thanks to the many screens in the bars and restaurants, departing passengers will not have to miss any of the Belgian matches. And passengers who feel like doing a bit of sports themselves can make a virtual cycle trip with a view of the tarmac or set their fastest time ever on our indoor athletics track” announces the Brussels Airport.
United behind the Red Devils
Next to the summer terrace, passengers can take a seat in the dugout where the trainer and bench players normally sit and enjoy a picnic with a view of the tarmac. Once inside, passengers can follow the matches live on the screens in the airport’s restaurants and bars. There is even a large film screen near the Sports Bar in Pier A.
A super tight match, but no more time to watch it on the screen? At strategic places in the airport, stewardesses will be carrying screens with live scores of the matches.
On various days, free-style footballers will be demonstrating their tricks and everybody can join in. Passengers, big and small, can learn new tricks and show off their own talents! And the sporty who want to steal the show in appropriate outfits can also find the official World Cup T-shirts at the airport.
