Dinner In The Sky to take place this year above Brussels Canal
Since its launch in 2006, Dinner in the Sky has provided a unique gastronomic experience for food-lovers across the world every year, allowing them to enjoy fine wines and exquisite dishes made by Michelin-starred chefs – all while being seated in a crane-suspended restaurant at a height of more than 50 metres.
After previously being held next to the Atomium and the Basilica of Koekelberg, this year’s event will take place overlooking the quay of Béco, on the Brussels canal, from the 13th to the 23rd of June.
Demand will undoubtedly be (sky) high for a meal this year, despite the exorbitant cost of a ticket (€295 per person), with chefs treating 22 lucky guests each day to a delicious lunch and two dinners.
This year’s Dinner in the Sky will be featuring the following chefs: Yves Mattagne (Sea Grill), David Martin (La Paix), Alexander Dionisio (Villa in the Sky), Karen Torosyan (Bozar Restaurant), Giovanni Bruno (Senzanome), Luigi Ciciriello (Truffe Noire) and Mathieu Jacri (Villa Emily).
Other than in Belgium, previous Dinner in the Sky events have been held in Brazil, Mexico, Italy, Greece, the United Kingdom and the island of Malta.
Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
