Ethiopia: appointment of new Ambassador to Belgium
The Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reshuffled ambassadors working in Ethiopian embassies abroad. 2018 is a major year for Ethiopian politics due to the rapprochement between Ethiopia and Eritrea, which ended two decades of hostility. “The international community must honour its responsibilities to support historic efforts to build peace in the Horn of Africa, said the Security Council,” says the Embassy of Ethiopia in Belgium.
Ambassador Girum Abay has been sent to Brussels, the Baltic States and Benelux countries from Moscow, Russia.
