Listen festival in Brussels

Electronic music will be on the frontline in the Belgian capital, from today to Saturday.

The days are getting longer and longer, spring is coming…. And dozens of festivals are coming back to Belgium. If you are interested in electronic music and innovation, you definitely should attend some concerts at the Listen festival, which starts today.

Listen! A Brussels Future Music Festival took place for the first time in 2016, it is then the second edition this year. Although the festival focuses on electronic music and innovation, it is not only about gigs. Over the three days, the participants will indeed have the opportunity to attend conferences, master classes and workshops to have a whole understanding of the current stakes that electronic music is facing.

If you fancy having an electronic walk tonight or if you just want to show your friends how Brussels is at night, different bars and clubs will host concerts through the city. You then can have a sort of urban trail as well as you will be partying. Not bad, right? Although some parties will start after work, most of the concerts will take place from 10.00 pm to 4.00 am from Flagey and le Parvis to the city centre.

On Friday night, you can learn more about electronic music culture as Cinéma Vendôme will display several documentaries on it.  And Brussels Square will also host concerts at night.

Last but not least, if you are not fed up with electronic music on Saturday yet, good news! It will indeed be very busy. All the day long, you will have the chance to attend master classes and workshop at Square Brussels. Once the serious things finished, it will be time to party again, Belgian and International DJs will be here to play their music.

Even if you are novice, Listen Festival is then a nice opportunity to get familiar with what electronic music is, and how it has been developed over the last decades.
