New strike: 10 and 11 July 2018
On June 27, 2018, the independent union for railway workers (SIC) has filed a 48-hour national strike notice for the staff of the SNCB train management department.
The strike notice covers the period of July 10, 2018 from 03:00 to 12 July at 03:00. The motive is a disagreement over the proposals to revitalize the train drivers, says HR-Rail. The employer announces that a conciliation meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 3rd.
