Anyone feeding pigeons in the City of Brussels will be fined 350 Eur. Warning signs will be placed in the city accordingly, announced the alderman of Urbanism, Geoffroy Coomans (MR).
Numerous in Brussels, pigeons have become a nuisance. They soil buildings, streets, monument, and can even be carriers of disease.
And there’s an additional risk because the scraps of food given to pigeons also attract other animals, such as rats.
