STIB rates will not increase in 2018
In 2017, public transport within the Brussels Region was used by 401 million users, a record. These figures confirm an increase of 8% compared to 2016 (+ 31.5 million users), the largest increase of the last ten years on the Brussels network.
The STIB rates will not increase in 2018, announced this Friday the Brussels Minister of Mobility Pascal Smet on Twitter.

Moreover, STIB underlines that this is the third year without increasing the tariffs.
