TUTU PUOANE FEAT.TINEKE POSTMA

The South African/Belgian singer Tutu Puoane discovered the work of Joni Mitchell as a teenager and in a surprising manner: through a Janet Jackson song. Tutu is now embarking on a trip through the music and poetry of the Canadian singer. She is joined on stage by the internationally acclaimed Dutch saxophonist (and good friend) Tineke Postma, bassist Clemens van der Feen, drummer Jasper Van Hulten and her regular pianist Ewout Pierreux. Tutu Puoane does much more than simply cover Joni’s music: her beautiful voice and unique phrasing put her very distinctive stamp on the music.
