Belgian singer Maurane dies days after her comeback
The Belgian singer Maurane was found dead at her home in Schaerbeek on Monday evening.
She died at the age of 57 and just days after returning to the stage after a two-year absence. The cause of death is not yet known.
Maurane, born Claudine Luypaerts, her career began as a singer in the 1980s and was interrupted in 2016 because of problems with her vocal chords.
Her most recent works include a role in a TV talent show for young singers, Nouvelle Star.
