Brussels, “the place to go” for Summer Sales

As of Saturday, stores will display their best promotions. To make the shopping experience more enjoyable, the Brussels Echevine in charge of Economic Affairs, Marion Lemesre, has decided to make free parking the first two weekends of the Sales in the Pentagon.

On Saturday, July 1st and 8th, motorized guests will not need to register with Pentagon pay-per-view machines. In other words, they will be able to go to the downtown businesses without being pressed for time and without worrying about having to move their vehicle. “With this exceptional arrangement, I want to encourage the barges to go to the center of Brussels to do bargains and also to discover the variety and richness of the shopping districts,” says Marion Lemesre.

The private company Interparking is associated with this operation by proposing a 30% reduction to users with a Pcard + card in the car parks of Haut and Bas de la Ville: P58, Ecuyer, De Brouckère, Alhambra, Monnaie, Rogier, Passage 44, Botanique, City 2, Deux Portes, Entre Deux Portes, Toison d’Or, Albertine, Stéphanie Louise and Porte de Hal. For more information

The stores will be open on Sunday July 2

Good news for the bargains fans: the shops will be open in the center of Brussels on Sunday July 2nd. “Brussels is one of the few cities to offer this advantage. The barges have to take place especially on a Sunday where the circulation in the capital is easier” explains Marion Lemesre.

As a reminder, the shops of the center open their doors every first Sunday afternoon of each month as part of the ‘Shop on Sundays’ campaign. Districts participating : rue Neuve, the Marolles, the Sablon, the Grand-Place, Dansaert, the Saint-Jacques neighborhoods and the Haut de la Ville (Avenue Louise, Avenue de la Toison d’or, rue de Namur).
